TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I have known Rick and Julie Rodgers for the past three years. I first met them whilst staying at their Lodge on top of Fox Mountain just outside of Caboolture in Queensland. Since our first meeting I have returned to the Lodge six or seven times staying two or three nights on each occasion.

The Lodge because of its remoteness provides full live-in accommodation, Rick and Julie are a very hands on management couple, from constructing the Lodge from the ground up to providing the excellent meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) which I gladly travel from Sydney just to enjoy.

Rick and Julie have indicated to me they wish to take on relief Motel Management positions. In this regard I believe I am qualified to give them a very favourable reference, as I have been a motel owner/operator over thirty years, was President of MIMA New South Wales and MIMA Australia for ten years, the founding Director of HMAA; and currently an Executive Director of Tourism Training Australia.

I have no hesitation in recommending Rick and Julie as Motel Managers; if I were still in the Motel business, I would definitely employ them.
